I love the 10’ ozark rear seat... got 4 of em haha but I did pick up a 10’ acc rear seat last year and I like it a lot to it’s a great pole... only complaint is the guides are a little big and when wading in heavy cover they seem to grab everything haha but none the less I always seem to go back to my ozark

Yeah, Mo Slab...I believe it was a special build done by Quantum many years ago from a Xtralite perspective. The only place I've seen them since are at Grizzly Company and occasionally on Ebay.com.

Wife told me to stop looking for that one rod and use the 4 that you have. :-) I'm going to keep reading the posts so I can find the
lightest and most sensitive rear seated rod in 10 or more feet. Let me know what that is. Thanks.

I was gonna include a Thump City, but word on the street is they’re no more

The Ozark seems to have a little more backbone and was a better buy for the money...heck Grizzly Company now selling it for about $35.

I'm not catching them hogs most of you are getting into but the Quantum Bayou Sac-A-Lait Special been pulling them sacs and chinquapin in before we went on lockdown. Anyone used or have a Quantum?
Dad has the 10' and 11' Quantum. The 10 is a nice pole but the 11 is very end heavy to me

I've used a lot of different ones. Last spring I bought an ACC. Best pole I have owned, sensitive and a lot of backbone.

    Thumbs up

Hey Marty I wanted to chime back in and say I really love my new Ozark rear seat 9ft rod from Grizzly. Caught another hard pulling 25 big bream yesterday with it. Coupled with a Pfleuger mini or Zebco 33 Gold Spincast Fishing Reel closed faced trigger spincast reel ( have both, still deciding), its perfect for my use. Very glad you brought this up! Thanks!
