Mo, I have the Sam Heaton, BNM Ultra light and also the Ozark. I was a Sam Heaton all the way until I got the Ozark. I think it’s lighter. It’s the first rod I will pickup when I go fishing. Tight lining in tree tops it’s hard to bet. I using the 10’
I prefer a rear seat rod also, let us know what you think. I moved the reel seat on my new Salter's pole all the way to the back of the rod, it works well like that. I have the Sam Heaton s/s in 10' also.

I agree, I think the Ozark is a lil bit lighter than the Sam Heaton.

I've had a Sam Heaton for about 5 years, and I really like t for jigging. I put a Pflueger auto fly reel on it. It balances really well with that. I won a BnM jigging pole at the D'Arbonne get together. I like it too, but haven't jigged with it much. Spider rigging with it, I like that the first 6-8" of the tip is soft, and shows a soft bite better than any rod I've got. Others are BPS Wally Marshall rods. The newer ones are good, 2 out of 3 of the Crappie Lite rods broke. BPS did give me credit towards the newer WM rods.
Another really nice rod is the Lew's Wally Marshall Pro Series. Model #WMPSR10ML-RS

I got an Ozark (10ft-11 guides, light) and a Quantum Bayou Sac-A-Lait Special (10ft-10 ceramic guides, very light) both rear seated. I've been using the Quantum for about 3 years and got the Ozark last year. The Quantum has a better feel for me and is my go to when single pole jigging. The Ozark seems to have a little more backbone and was a better buy for the money...heck Grizzly Company now selling it for about $35.
I'm not catching them hogs most of you are getting into but the Quantum Bayou Sac-A-Lait Special been pulling them sacs and chinquapin in before we went on lockdown. Anyone used or have a Quantum?
