Thread: Not Catching Crappie !!!

Not lately. I did try a couple times last year but gave up. Just much better options coming from Lafayette.

I hear that, I fish dub. during the spawn. I fish the bank, and usually every year at this time a catch a few, before April when bit is better, this year nothing!! not even boaters catching!!! It's been a weird month over all!! lol Was wondering if they spawned yet? thx

Dub has a lot of whites which usually spawn later than blacks....They could literally hit the bank anytime now

Thx' man, for info. That sounds encouraging!! You think I should wait to fish dub. banks, until after this front Tuesday? thx

Reason, I ask because, other day couple boaters told me water temperature was 70% they said the crappie spawned!!

There will still be some on the banks

I am still catching females with eggs at Millers Lake and at my camp in North La. I'm guessing it's a second spawn. Here's a couple of pics.
