Thread: Larto Gauge Forecast and Information

I have modified this forecast to conform to the latest NWS Hydrographs.
The Gage Zero has been changed from -0.5´ NGVD to 0.0´ NGVD. This results in the Pool Stage changing from 37.5´ Stage to 37.0´Stage.
The level shown is now 0.5´ below that reported by rivergauges.com who uses a -0.5 NGVD Gage Zero.
When the current overflow structure was constructed (1979) the Pool Stage was set at 37.0´ NGVD by ordinance of the Avoyelles Parish Police Jury.
The Discharge Structure is now fully open and will remain open until the lake reaches Pool Stage.
I have added a column showing the fall/rise in inches per day.
I hope that I haven’t confused you too much. It will all work out in the long run.
