Default Silence on the Bone -

There was a Crappie Tourney on the bone and there has not been a word.. I almost came home because I could not find where I could not launch and park till 11:30 at the Dam. There was not any fish caught in Boats that were close to me and Dynamite would not have put one in my Cooler. I always take the Helix -7 in the house till I am ready to put the Boat in the water. It took me till 3 to find out why the bird would not work ... I had the Transducer plugged in but not the power Cord. I thought there was a Bass and Crappie tourney but the Bass Chasers were Crappie fishing too. As I was leaving a Man taking their Boat out said the morning bite was ok ,, he was tracking the weigh in and there were good fish caught, His were small. The Weigh In was at the Crawfish Shed by D'Arbonne Point.. That place was a Mad House and you could smell Crawfish cooking across the Lake. I am going to check Lake Darbone Life Dot Com ,, if something happens on the Bone Kinney Haddox is there.

The real story coming out is the fish that were turned loose after the Crappie Masters tourney, and died....

I might weight until time weigh In to launch -- then follow the release Barge with a Dipnet .... I have always thought that Stressed Fish Waived in the air was not a good Idea if they were to be released

Problem with this particular tourney that is stirring a lot of controversy is, someone posted a video of guys just walking down to the bank and dumping their release bags in the edge of the water. Fish floating all around boats and appeared to be dead. People with nets running around scooping them up. From what little you could see it didn’t appear they had a very good set up to keep them alive or to transport back out into lake like the big tourneys do. I know small bass clubs do the same thing and no one says a thing. I’m thinking since this one had crappiemasters attached to it is what got this started.

IMO There's no excuse for not having the proper process in place for the release fish.
To compare A tournament with over 40 teams entered and a 10k payout like a small club tournament?

35 out of 850, seems pretty good to me. I’m a realist, 4% is great just based on the 850.
