Default Black Bayou Hosston at flood stage

Over five feet of water going over the spillway at Hosston. I sure hope it takes a lot of the salvinia with it.

Charliee I hope that doesn't put your camp in danger.

    Gene,
It is fine. All the camps around the lake are up a little bit. MY camp is probably 20 feet above the water line. My dock is under right now but that does not hurt anything. If it gets high enough to flood my camp Shreveport will be flooded.
    Thanks for your concern though.

Did you get more rain to add to this in the last few days? How long does it take for it to get back down to fishing level. I'm in the same shape here, everything is flooded. Might go down to Dorchete Creek and fish it tomorrow even though it is probably 8 to 10 feet high. Tight lines.

    Don,
We are back down to a fishing level now. It is still high but not too high. Right now I am planning on a trip next weekend.
