    Yes, that's why I prefaced my remarks with "early yet". The eggs are usually not developed until mid-February, however, this has been an unusual year.
    The water got very high (destroyed my camp) and has been unusually warm. I was just suggesting that it might be interesting to try.

    I don't consider yoyo-ing fishing, just harvesting fish. It's perfectly OK if you need fish to eat.
