When I lived in Carencro in the late 80's we would slay crappie in that place. Can't remember what ramp I put in , but would go down (i think g&a cut) then make a left then cross a real shallow lake then go through trees with motor trimmed up, then BOOM a hundred boats in the middle. Does anybody know where I talking about ? I live N.C. now that was many years ago but some good fishing.

It’s still there, just as you described. I have a camp near there. Fishing is pretty good. All depends on the atchafalya river flood stage.
