Lake has not been good to me, but I haven't failed to catch a mess on the bayou every time I've been.

I haven't had time to go, but when I crossed the lake today on Hwy 2, there were 5-6 boats fishing the channel just south of the bridge. I don't know if they were catching anything though.

I crossed the lake at jakes about 8 AM only two boats fishing and the water is not muddy --- they are keeping the spillway open enough that the lake is only about 6 inches above Pool --- I sure wished I knew the water temps ...

Larry, vbottom and I will be down there in a couple of weeks. You will get plenty of reports then, good or bad. Hopefully the fish are biting.
The older I get the more I realize the therapeutic benefits of fishing
