    Default Opening night...


    Haha, ol' Skippa Chippa made the 100+ miles trip sat morning (in the thick fog) to come fish the Stretch with me on Black Lake and I bet I heard him say "Opening night" at least 30 times!
    That's because that's what he said every time he caught a fish on a Bobby Garland opening night baby shad jig! The only bad thing is we only caught a few that were big enough to keep. I can honestly tell yall from about 7:30am till noon I don't think we ever went more than about 5 minutes without catching a fish!
    Even though we didn't fill the livewell we still had a great time. My dad and uncle drove up from Alexandria and fished by us. We ended up giving them our few keepers.

    Thanks Mike I really enjoyed my self. Fishing was fantastic even though we only had a few keepers nothing better than feeling the thump.     The electric chicken was the second best bait for me that day but the opening night out caught 5 - 1. Spot was mad he had to stay home.
