    Default Mounting your big Feesh

    CDC Folks,

Just wanted to remind folks that you can get a replica mount instead of a skin mount. I've been told a the replica s last longer. Take lots of pictures and measurements. Keep a cloth measuring tape with ya.

You have to remember that even with some "skin mounts" they will use artificial parts.

IMO the biggest part of a good looking mount is the paint job. The color leaches out.

I checked a couple of places --- Cost about $25 per inch for the ones that would give price, or $250 for a 10 inch fish

If a skin mount is done properly the only artificial parts will be the paint and eyes. Quality paints don't really fade unless they are exposed to a lot of sunlight. Name: 20191221_200341.jpg
