    Default Back to the bayou.

After seeing all of the boats on the lake when I crossed it on HWY 2 yesterday, I almost drove up to Lake D'Arbonne but decided to go to Bayou D'Arbonne this morning instead. It was a good decision and a great day. God truly blessed me today. I kept 24 crappie and 1 bass. Threw back 4 fish.

18 of the crappie weighed over a pound. 8 of them went over a pound and a half. One weighed 1 lb. 15 oz. Posted her on the Golden Shiner thread.

Caught 20 of them in 20-26 FOW around 5-6 feet deep. Caught all of them on a Blue Thunder with Chartreuse tail on a pink head. I fished from 7:30 until around 12:30. Name: IMG_20191121_151912728_HDR.jpg

No, Jimmy, I ain't got anything figured out yet. The Lord has just been good to me. If I ever thought I had it figured out, somebody would move the bayou.
