    Default Hammer Time 11/11

Made a trip to Poverty today with 40w. Today was a great day to be on the lake, overcast, not to cold and not much wind either.

The bite was slow but steady all morning. Started out catching fish on bobby Garlands in blue ice and glacier and when those slowed down I put on some hand ties and smote some donkeys upside the head.

Water was 56, most the catching was 12 to 14 ft deep.

Dad was telling me the other day that he heard poverty point was fished out lol. Must not be the case then. You didn't catch any of those hybrids they say that they put in there?

No, I caught a bunch if yellow bass but no hybrids today. I can't say its fished out but I will say it's not what it used to be. This was a better trip than any trip I had last winter

Great looking mess of fish. Nothing better than catching that quality fish on your own jigs.

Nice catch, Jimmy and 40. Congratulations! That's some purty hand ties also.
