    Default Bundicks

Well decided to try Bundicks again Friday. Was not able to fish the area we wanted so we tried another area of the lake. We each caught 1 fish. Fishing was super slow but the scenery made it worth being out there! Got hung up in an old catfish line that this carp had managed to get hooked on. It was released unharmed.

Well he was dumb enough to get hooked on a catfish line so he probably won't make it long! lol This one did not look like the invasive Asian carp, and that is why he was turned loose.

It looks like a common carp. They too, are considered invasive.

I just got finished watching the weather on the Alexandria TV station and he said the Bundicks area got 2.9 inches of rain. That should help fill it back up some.

My brother lives in Deridder and said they got quite a bit more rain than that. A little more and I will have to paddle my boat from the launch!

Naw, they just didn't want to bite that day! That creek channel runs from one end of the lake to the other and was there long before the lake was established. There will always be fish in there. lol
