    Default Monday in the Rain

I woke up early with the decision on what to do and were to go. Fishing or squirrel hunting? Fishing won then the decision of were to go Larto or Dubison. Looking at the radar I thought I could squeeze in a few hours before the rain. Famous last words, I just got the poles in the water and started pulling cranks when it started to sprinkle. We stuck it out for a little while and caught a few. Name: IMG_0190.JPG

Looks like that is a smart dog, smart enough to get out of the rain. Good catch.

That reminds me of a man I know that got rained out one day.
He got everything ready the night before.
In the morning he quietly got up being careful not to wake his sleeping wife,
got dressed, grabbed his lunch in the kitchen, then slipped out the door, and hooked
the boat trailer to the truck.
Before he could leave the storm hit with fierce lightening and horrible rain.
So, he said screw it, I ain't going. Backed his boat back in, unhooked the trailer.
Quietly he went back in the house, put his lunch back in the fridge, got undressed and
slipped back in the bed with his wife, and she said, "Can you believe my husband is fishing out in this crap!"
Ya can't no more do what ya don't know than ya can come back from where ya ain't been!

Well was it Larto or Dublisson? Nice fish either way and I agree about Spot being a smart dog!

I figured it would be best to stay on concrete and blacktop and go to Dubison than try the field road in the rain going to Youngbloods.
