    Default Blast and Crank

I met up with a good friend before daylight to see if we could find some tree rats and then run to Lake Dubison to pull some cranks. We had a good hunt with him killing a limit and I shot 6. We cleaned the squirrels and ate some lunch then headed off to catch some sac a lait. When we got to Dubison we were the only ones on the lake and I was bragging to him about last trip over here and how big the fish were , that’s when everything went South. I ran to the back of the lake and shut the motor off and put the trolling motor down, pressed the power button and no green light. Checked the plug and it seamed like I had a good connection, the wires to the battery were tight still no power to the trolling motor. I changed battery’s to the depth finder battery and still the same thing no power up front. We loaded the boat back on the trailer and headed home, another project for another day. I'l lhave to get the meter out and start searching. It was dark by the time I got back. Could possibly be the fuse, that will be the first thing to check.

At least you won’t go hungry. Hope it’s a minor problem with trolling motor.

Nice squirrels! I learned MANY moons ago, NEVER brag on a trip BEFORE you go! lol Do the bragging after! Hope you get it fixed before Darbonne!

Same thing happened to me recently. Ended up being a bad switch. $20 bucks later and I'm good to go again.

Love me some tree rats. Pete made a gumbo with ours. I’m ready to get some in the freezer now. You guys had a good day. Nice bunch of squirrels there.

If you have one of these in the battery wire, push the black button. Sea Dog 50 Amp Resettable Circuit Breaker.
