    Business trip today. Strictly bid ness. Gotta see if dat pank Darbonne special is gonna catch on da Tfunky.

    Made it to 4th street launch a little late. Conditions were perfect. Water is up and clear. No Wind early.

    First stop bam feesh in da box. Next spot is da 3tail spot. Bam Bam two slabs in da box.

    Next spot back to da pank. Two here three there. Went to the sliver slab slayer jig. It caught too.

    More testing needed. I guess I'll have to get back out there.

    Seems to me and I am not an expert, but it is the fisherman’s confidence in the fisherman that is more important than the fisherman’s confidence in the bait they are using. Nothing against Jimmy Watt and his baits. Same would happen if Martin sent Jimmy some of his tubes. A confident fisherman will catch more fish.

    Ouch Tal, what do mean my baits aren't magical fish catchers??? J/k

    It is true though and I'm first to admit, there are no majic jigs. They're just a small piece of a larger puzzle.

    Confidence does carry you a long way though.

    That's always been my thoughts on the Berkley nibblets. They help your confidence way more than your actual fish catching.

    Hey Vet,

    You, as a biz ness man and highly educated in the sciences, should know dat two trips with da pank jig is not enough data to come to any conclusion. Once I've complied a sufficient amount of data, I'll post my findings.

    On my way to da landing around noon Friday,I stopped at One of my better spots. Threw da pank and it was getting taps but know hookups. Small feesh? I say. Pulled da tube out and bam feesh on. So I went back with the Bonne Idee siver special and bam bam. Back to back feesh.

    As you can see more field testing is needed.
