Default Not a thump but had a good time

Decided to take the boys to Old River this morning since I probably won’t make it to the get together next weekend. Got on the water around 7 and fished til around 10:30. Drowned some shiners early and late without a single thump. In b/w we pulled in bream every cast but only 4 were big enough to throw in the live well. They ended up back in the water to see another day. Probably caught 20-30 altogether. Boys had fun and I don’t have to clean fish, win-win.

Good luck. I’m sure y’all will be able to find some. I tried around a couple rafts and a couple piers. 2 of the rafts I’ve been fishing for years were gone so I’ll have to find some new spots.

Looks like the Miss River will be @ 15’ Saturday......should be cut off and not affect Old River.
Whoever is going, we’ll meet inside @ launch between 12:00-12:30
