I'm like Bossier Rob, can't catch more than 5 or 6 nice ones on Cypress Lake. All were caught on Mad Cow and Strike King Sexy Shad color.
Any other colors caught catfish. Fished across from the park and points down by dam.
Nice fish! Thanks for sharing.

It's going to get better as the weather cools down. I've always caught my biggest fish on Cypress in late fall/early winter as they move deep. Something else I noticed on my last trip out was the fish that we did catch were fat and healthy. They're usually pretty skinny in late summer. They've definitely been eating and eating well. Seeing lots of shad balls often on the fish finder. I'm no crappiologist, but maybe, juuuust maybe, that's a clue. Lol
Hit Cypress again this morning from 7- 11am and managed to catch 13 nice ones. Caught most of them by the park on 6 different crank baits , but all had a white base color. The fish were actually swallowing the baits today and seemed to be hungry.
I think you took care of that already Lil Bro!
Went back yesterday morning to Cypress and caught 10 good ones that made a nice meal for the LSU game.
