    Default A little lagniappe


    Finally got a couple days off work for me and the girlfriend to fish a little on Garbonne. Slabs were biting pretty good 23 and a bream. Then ole fat boy showed up to crash the party. Jig pole 8 pound test A little lagniappe he weighed round 37 pounds.

    By gosh if that was jig pole and 8 lb line. Then that was an epic fight. Have got big buffalo before one took 1 hr 12 min still remember it . HAVE to have open water to have a chance

    Yeah I can't believe I was able to land it, you can see by picture what I was fishing in was jumbled tree tops. Good line, good reel with good drag and a whole lot of luck lol
