    Default Ouachita, two fer one report 9/5 & 9/6


    Ole 40 and I caught us a good mess of fish the last two days.

    Took us a couple hrs to find them Thursday but once we did it was on. Went back today to pick up our scraps. Kept 37 Thursday and 36 Friday

    Fishing back in the sloughs away from the river 2 to 3 ft deep in about 5 fow. Tight lining hand tie jigs and color didn't seem to be crucial.

    Final note, when you find the shad you'll find the crappie.

    There is usually a "gem" of info in a report. "Find the shad, find the crappie is great big one!! Good report!
