Default Any kayak fishermen arounf lafayette?

I have been on here for a few years and dont participate that much any more because I just dont fish often any more. Well I hope to change that, last month I purchased a hobie pro angler 14. I have taken it out 2 times just to get my sea legs. Hopefully I use more often than I do my bass tracker. It is easier to load and launch. So if any one out there wants a tag along or company to haul all the fish they catch back. I plan on traveling to some new places with it soon.

I launch my kayak off the levee in Ramah when the water gets low enough. A couple reports popped up this weekend with some fish caught. Just need to get out and see for myself.

If you are interest let me know and we can try to set something up one weekend.

Wow, nothing like starting off at the top. That’s about the ultimate kayak, the only drawback is that it’s heavy. We have 4 kayaks around here, they are fun even if you’re not fishing.

I know a few guys here who have sold their big boats after taking up kayak fishing.

I have been looking at theese for 10 years simce my wife and I moved back to La. I found a deal I could not pass up. As far as the weight, it came with the hobie cart, but I plan on getting the boonedox landing gear. I dont have any trouble getting it in to my 4x4 dodge truck. And the bed is long enough that i dont need a bed extender.
