    Default Whiskey Bay 8-1-19

Well finally made it out after a long hiatus. Went to Whiskey Bay with buddy Carl after hearing fish were biting. Had a good morning fishing from 6:30-9:30 with 39 kept and probably through back as many smaller fish. 3-4' under cork using shiners. Bite was done in area we fished at around 9:00. Really felt good to finally "suckemup" again.

Yes but not until after out of shiners and by then bite was pretty much over. There were a few other boats in area that were using jigs and picking up fish. Looked like they were using green and black tube jigs. Not really a jig guy. "Prefer shiners". LOL
