Thread: Darbonne Gathering 2019

I’m really trying fellas to get enough geese to make some of that jalapeño cheddar goose sausage I brought down last year but so far just one lonely honker has been in the shotgun sights


And that’s not nearly enough.....I do have lots of time yet, but in case I don’t get enough geese, I have a backup plan

Walleye chowder


My son Chris and I hope to get out and get some Walleye, so if we strike out on geese, here’s plan B

If that fails.....what y’all like from McDonalds?

Just Steve, I sure hope you get some more geese, that was some good stuff! I was hoping to have some shrimp to bring but they closed the gate this morning! Brought the boat in yesterday and got it back yesterday! All ready to go and they close the gate! And with all the rain, I don't see them opening it before the gathering! I too have a backup plan, Blueberry cobbler!
