Maybe I talk my mom into making a couple to bring up there. I have her recipe but mine never turn out like hers!

Well I know I'm pumped! Been a few years since I hooked a southern slab and I get to fish with some of the best to boot. I reckon I got a bit of an edge fishing with Steelguy too.

I might have to reinstate an old tradition and smoke some phatties too. The MS boys seemed partial to em.

That is some awesome syrup. I don't usually eat maple, as I'm partial to cane syrup. But John that syrup is hittin. I could get addicted. Don phatties will disappear in a minute with the group that will be there.

"D" I thought that I hated maple syrup until I tried the real thing made by my daughter in law's family in upstate New York. It's nothing like the artificially flavored stuff you buy off the shelf. I think that stuff is made from pine sap.

There will be some as door prizes. Some of that good coffee, too.

does anybody use crankbaits in nov for crappie down there?
I am going to have the boat set up to spider rig if needed , but I like using crankbaits, especially if it is windy
