    Anyone have any experience with one? How is it in shallow water? i was thinking of buying one but Ive never seen it in action.

    Yes it will work in shallow water , deep water , spider rigging, jig'n,trolling what ever no hype

    You will even tuck it in beside you every night

    Redge --- Had a hard time springing for the Helix 7 -- If I needed another Battery fir that Fishing Eyeball I would have to get another Boat to tow behind my little Tub I fish out of --- that might be what I need to carry my tackle Box

    Unreal how amazing it is. I've had mine for 8 months and have had no battery issues. Learning fish behaviors is really cool.

    as i understand -- when the livescope transducer is out of the water -- the black box is steady searching for the signal -- that's what runs the battery down -- I installed a toggle switch in line so that when I move and the transducer is stowed I can turn the black box off -- had first trip on the water for about an hour last night -- pretty cool
