    Default The Tchefuncte river

First cast at 8am. Need to get out earlier.

Conditions were perfect. Water was down a bit, dirty and no movement. Wind picked up half pass 9.

Threw da 3tail for a few. But too small to keep. Work my way down river and pick up one Here and there.

All feesh caught tight line black n green n chartreuse tube tight line on a minnow head 1/16.

Must have kept a dozen. No blue for Momma today. Gonna have some explaining to do. ;(

Nice buddy, looks like someone doesn't like gators. That is a nice picture of swamp mallows, have you ever seen the pink ones in that area.

Nice batch of fish. I hung a trot line out from some rose mallow one evening intending to use it as a marker to find the line. It got dark before I got back to bait
it. I never thought about the flowers closing up at night. It never got baited. Had to wait until the sun got up to find it.
    Tell'em I'll be there.

I always valled them wild hibiscus. They have the white and pink / purple one in the burns where I fish. Dug white ones up years ago and planted them in the yard. Dug pink ones up last year and gave to mom.
