Default Help identifying this grass shrimp mini plastic lure

    Hi all,

I might should have put this in another area of the forum but since I got it locally and you all are always helpful when I'm seeking assistance I put it here.

Can you help me identify this lure (1.5/2 inches long, hollow inside). It looks similar to the small shrimp on the sabiki rig but it's not quite the same. I was given 5 of these by an older gentleman last year who was killing the sacs in a pond in Norco near Bonne Carre. I've been killing a few still spawning and post spawning sacs with this lure but am down to the last one. Any help on what it is and where locally or online I can purchase. Thanks.

Google search grass shrimp jigs / lures / plastics you may find a Chinese company that does them. Just a thought.

    Hi,
I'm ordering some of these today. They are 1 1/8" long. If you want, I can get some for you. They come from China and take 30 to 45 days. I am also getting some 1 1/2" long. In the late 1940's, I used to kill them with these in the cut from the spillway to the lake.

Thanks Cajun. Sorry for the delayed response. It's graduation month and I've been out of pocket the last 2 weeks.

I took you guys initial advice and was able to get an alternative from China that is very similar but not as sturdy. I was able to catch a few with them with the alternative last Friday. See the alternative compared to the original. Name: 3.jpg
