Went yesterday. Water high, muddy and rising. Had to move around a lot, but scratched out enough for supper.

Cranks? I wish! LOL! I was spider-rigging with shiners. High water has a lot of trash floating in it and the clarity isn't very good. Water temp was 67. Water needs to fall and get steady for a while. Then it will get better.

Pete and went cranking last week. Water is on the rise. We will miss the spawn again this year but the water should go down just in time to get some good cranking in.

I think I could drag a Generator and a pair of shockers and not turn up a single fish -- the fish are only in 5 % of the water

You did good, I was able to make it across the fields before the last rain and caught a bunch of 6 or 7" males.

    Nice catch.
Definitely another winning year for spawning fish in A LOT of places. I can’t be mad at that though...

I took the "long-cut" from Hwy 28 to Janesville along the diversion canal. Water everywhere!! Fished briefly off the dock near Ferriday, caught a few big bluegills in 1.5 fow. Gnats and snakes were active.
