    Default Toledo Bend info?

Staying at the fen and feather Easter weekend. Never been to TB before. Any advice? What to look for fishing wise?

Make sure you stay on top of the weather.
Like any big lake it gets nasty in a hurry.
Should be plenty of hungry post spawn females !
I’d be looking for them in 8-10 ft of water on heavy cover.

Fished San Miguel area (zwolle) 2 weeks ago. Only managed to catch a dozen sacs but they were nice. Usually catch more and in the shallows at this time of the year but we caught most of our fish in 6-8 fow casting and retrieving crappie jigs and Bobby Garlands. The lake was the lowest I've ever fished as they had just opened up more gates at the dam in order to prevent flooding in anticipation of upcoming rainfall at the time

I’ll be up there this Friday-Saturday fishing in the pirates cove area. I’ll let you know if I find any.
