    Default D'arbonne april 1-5

What an awesome lake. Came down from Missouri for a week of fishing last week. Monday was a bit chilly but managed a fair amount. Tuesday fished half day with an incredible guide (Josh Gowan). Taught us alot about spider rigging and the lake plus a bucket load of crappie. Wednesday was great weather and caught alot more fish. Thursday got rained out and did some sight seeing and local fare tasting !! Friday i had to check out by 11am so hit the water at 6:30 and fished till 10am. Caught 24 from 12" to 15" (pic of fish on table). Figures id figure them out on the last day ! Sure wish i couldve spent another week there. Out of all the fish we caught there might have been 10 males. Others were full of eggs. Caught all these in 8' to 15'. Most of them along the break line of the river channel. State Park area. With Josh we fished the stumps north of the 33 bridge. Cant wait to come back. Great people, food and fishing. Special thanks to K & M tackle store for your hospitality and help.Name: IMG_20190406_144317.jpg
