Launched at Doiron’s Shiner. Cut through Poularde on the way back to save 10 minutes. White caps in the lake on the way out.to the best fishing forum on the web......thats a nice haul....in one of my favorite fishing holes....congrats....been wondering whats going on down there.....where did you launch...I've been wanting to go there but hate to fight the "no wake zones" in the high water....
. Wake zone will be in effect for a while. Sacs just starting to show their face....been burning gas mostly so far this spring.

If you launch just north of the NOV yard in Amelia it’s a pretty short run to union and the only no wake zone is coming out of the launch. It’s a pretty nice launch too. Costs a dollar per day, cash only in a kiosk
