    Default Marsh style Sac fishing?

Do you just beat the bank or side scan? I dont like to beat the bank, I would rather use my Solixs, (which im still learning) idle down a canal and be able to see them and stop and fish... I'm trying to eliminate dead water... what do you look for in your sidescan? any pics would be nice.

We have alot of marsh style fishing here in southeast and I am still learning the different methods of catching these wonderful Sacalait.

Scanning should work but depends on how far away they are and if the spook from idling by or not. I haven't figured my side scan out good enough to do it in canals but it works around docks.

    Hey T,

I feesh da Lac a few times a year. Love catching dem gold sacs.
Would do it more but it's a long haul for me. Not much on beating da banks I'd much rather catch email tight line.
IMO if you find structure you'll find da feesh. HTH

I hear on the long haul, i see you catching all those sacs on the North shore but, i have 5 launchs that are 30 mins from Metairie, so hard for me to make that haul up north. I guess what i meant by beating the banks, was just stopping in a marsh canal and start casting at the bank in random spots.... I will normal ride down with side and down scan on Humble and go by my waypoints for the stumps and laydowns and look for them and fish if there is fish to be caught. But in the marsh, im dont finding that many stumps or laydowns, Im watching the grass line and the drop offs and not see them... I know most guys go to spots that they have been going to for years, even my speckled trout spots that i have caught in for years, I just drive by and see them on side scan, if they are there we catch if not to the next spot.
    Thanks and God Speed!
