    I can not tell the difference with Crappie, I use Hi Viz yellow because of my sight. We do not fish very clear water down here.

    I meant to put in my post above. I use hi vis 10lb line 95% of the time. I single pole in stained water around heavy cover.

    I like the hi vis and the water we fish here is usually so muddy they don’t seem to mind.

    I seem to think that you will catch more with hivis due to seeing subtle bites and keep a check on bait placement and line angle. Experiment See what works for you
