    Wow, those are great but readers need to realize that the numbers are feet above sea level and not water depth. Thanks for posting.

    I had no Idea there were holes that were deeper like that. I thought it had an old channel on the south east side and the rest was sort of a dish pan

    That's where I've found the deep water, Larry. I just installed a new Lowrance Elite Ti with Nav+ maps and it doesnt even show Poverty Point. Caney is just the outline of the lake, no depth contours.

    My Lakemaster didn't show the contours either...
    Look for the old Carolina Skiff
