Thread: Bayou Chevreuil 2-17

Better late than never.
Finally got my potatoes in the ground and since my father showed up we were done by 10.....afternoon fishing trip.

Made it to the launch on hwy 20 about 12:15 with three boats pulling out. All say same thing “a couple sac a lait and one bass with lots of boats.” Everyone fishing towards the Lac I’ll head under the bridge and away from the people.

Lots of bream, lots of throw backs, and a little bit of everything. Color didn’t seem to matter much but most of my success was on blue and white with a little pink on the jig head. All came in water less than 4’ deep on what ever structure had just little moving water next to it. Pretty day on the water.

That's a nice mixed bag there for sure!! ditto on the slabs & tators!
