Can eat it (limited amount) if cooked was told by WLF. It's about as bad as going to the grocery store and eating all the artificial flavored food.

That's how I figure it, the Dept. of Ag. allows so much poison or chemicals in our food so what's a little bit more. I don't keep more than a few and my main source of fish is the Terrebonne Parish area which has no adviseries or Lake St. John which doesn't either.

Now that's negative thinking if I ever heard of any.

Interesting info, I mostly fish in SE LA and there are several areas that are not on the map that I fish but others that are. Who knows, don't think I'm changing anything but like others, why haven't I seen this before. Seems important to be quiet.

The advisory has been out over 30 years. There are signs posted on these waterways. Most of the problem is with Mercury. Harmful effects to small children and nursing mothers. Folks need to read the advisory and how the results are attained. A bit fake news. IMO.

I've seen these advisories for many years. D'Arbonne and D'Arbonne bayou isn't on the list; Lake Providence was on the advisory list for many years but I don't see on this map.
