Don't know that area but from what you describe, sounds like it has potential!

Not in the boat but in the truck, not many people talking bout fishing with all the high muddy water and deer season still going on. I went to check out Iatt Lake sense the drawdown, the water is going down pretty good still flowing over the dam and dirty. There was still plenty of giant sylvania on the banks and below the dam. I continued headed North to Nantachie Lake, have never been there before. This is a good looking lake with plenty of standing timber with the water looking a not as muddy. I found 3 public boat ramps and the dam, was wondering if anyone in that area has any info such as depth or is there any boat lanes? I'm gonna make this one of the lakes to check out with the boat and jigging pole.

Nantachie Lake has some good fish in it. The boat lane is not marked very well and it is full of stumps Catch some in the winter in front of the dam and in the spring in the old lake. also there are some nice chinks and gills in it. Just be careful when running.

Speckle when you speak of the old lake is that the area out in front of the IP boat launch?

No the part where the public launch is. That part was A private lake the dam for it has cuts in it going to the new part. It is shallow and is very stumpy too At first there was only the dam you can see from hwy 71. now they have a weir so they can drain it. the old dam did not have gates.
