    Default Henderson....Nothing Happening....

Just checking in....not much going on at Henderson.....last trip Sat. 1/5 had one bite, one 14" sac.....trip before that only 2.....fish have disappeared from places I was catching....nothing much showing up on my fish finder....water muddy like chocolate milk....rising to last years high water mark....I guess they have moved into the woods....still, they should be ready to spawn in February for the eggs I have seen lately....Wife & I rode down to Stephensville the other day to check out the water....very high down there....think I will wait till the water starts to fall at Henderson before I go back....time to catch up on my "honey do" list....

I know the feeling Bruce. My last three trips and nothing to show for it. Went to Lake Des Allemande Tuesday after a great report from Sunday, almost skunked, one slab. I went where a friend went and there were 6 boats in there and only one boat caught 2 fish. I moved over to another canal, nothing. I even took a hint from Sugarfoot and went all the way across the lake, one shoe-pic. Two other boats and some bank fishermen in there, no one caught anything.

So what did I do today. I took all the old scratched up decals and numbers off the left side the boat and compounded it and polished it to a mirror shine. Tomorrow I will put some wax on it and then start on the other side while the weather is so nice. I will put on new numbers and decals on as soon as I get them. Pictures later.

Oh man PPG that is not good, I was thinking they were going to be biting this week before the cool front came in.
I gonna make a run at them before the weather rolls in tomorrow.....hopefully the crowds stay away.

I thought the same, but alas the fish didn’t read the same books as I. Maybe during the cold snap coming early next week.
