    Default Back on DaBone

Fished the flats from noon until 5pm; 12-18 fow and fish about a foot off bottom. Kept 21 over 10" and probably tossed that many dinks.
    God is good.

Nice catch. Afternoon bite must be better than the morning.

About 12:30pm I talked to a couple of men in the same boat. They said they had been there since daylight and had 13.

Another nice mess. Staging for the spawn or getting out of the current? Seems early for the spawn.

They're getting out of the current; once the lake settles down most will move back to the channel.

Are these flats loaded with dead trees/stumps.? Reason I ask is I’m curious as to how spider rig the areas that have this type of cover.....the dow is usually 15 to 18 ft. Thanks and nice catch mr James.

I call that a good day. Especially good to have you out on the water again!

Some have a lot of stumps but you'd be how many have very few stumps. You're going to break off some.
