Got a chance to take off work and go to the camp for a few days to fish and like Mr. Jig Rig would say, "the conditions were perfect!" It rained on us for 2 days, water was muddy with a fast current flowing through and by day 2 it was on a steady rise. Keep 69 on wed, 40 on thurs, and only managed to net a few on fri. Since thurs the water has rose 3.5 feet. Here's some pics of some of the best. Top fish went 15" at 2lbs even

Yes sir Bro. Maxwell Grand Bayou flows straight from its spillway into Black Lake. I looked at it at the bridges on hwy 507 and it's almost up to the road. I read your recent article in Louisiana Sportsman, looks like I'm gonna come join y'all soon on Grand Bayou
