    Prayer Request The rivers

Since I had received a gift card for Christmas for Bass Pro we decided to take a ride being they're having a nice sale going on. As we traveled there every stream and river we crossed was awful looking. I expected to see a post by JR since the conditions were perfect; high muddy water and lots of current with water out the banks of all North Shore rivers. In fact he could have fished right down the middle of some subdivision. Just kidding my friends but it doesn't look good for those that got hit by the high water. According to the weatherman the rivers are going down after going over flood stage by quite a bit. I hope everyone is alright but there will be some lost of property.

    PPG,
My weather station recorded 12 inches of rain this December and it is raining here now.
Everything around here is high and at flood stage, and the NWS is predicting another 2 to 3 inches this week.
I am going to have to visit JR and get him to show me how to fish in perfect conditions. LOL

Hope you and Linda have a HAPPY NEW YEAR

    Thanks Buster,
It’s been a too wet year for us too. I’m glad I didn’t do a fall garden. We’re hoping for a better year but Linda might have to start the year with surgery on her broken arm as it doesn’t want to heal. Wishing you, Carolyn and the boys a Happy New Year.

JR I thought about a surprise visit but we had our grand daughter with us and had to be back at a certain time. You know how time flies when two fishermen sit down to talk. Maybe next time and I’ll bring the loan.

I've never seen it this wet for this long. I deer hunt on Dugdemona River in Winn Parish and my stands have been under water nearly all season. That's never happened before.
