Default The Bone -- three ft high and Rising

Made a detour through Farmerville going to the Doctor today!!! Jakes, at 33 bridge is barely open enough to launch-- the little pier at the ramp is under water.. most of the old 33 to town has water just over the Blacktop with pier under water.. so that means the Stowe Creek ramp is submerged... The spillway is open --- there was only one boat fishing the Channel.. More Rain is in the Forecast coming in next few days.. If the lake rises very much the launch ramps will be closed

I got out of town in the nick of time. My son told me it was on the rise after all the rain. Funny thing, a couple of springs ago it started raining the day after I left for home and you got ><25" in a short time. Guess you can blame it on the yankee.
The older I get the more I realize the therapeutic benefits of fishing

We do not like to place blame to anyone for Rain --- They are probably limiting the water through the Spillway because of the work going on at the Locks at Columbia. The last I heard that work would be going on till Jan or Feb.... If they close the Ramps it is to prevent Property Damage to Homeowners docks, Boathouses and seawalls from Boat wakes --- we have all seen those that Blast through the No Wake zones
