    Default Black Lake 12/2/18 & 12/3/18


    Saturday morning my wife and I went duck hunting out in an open part of the lake and the fishing boats came by none stop all morning. When we got back to the boat ramp there wasn't a parking spot open! (Usually only 2 or 3 trucks there.) So I took here home and grabbed my rods and went back out. Fished till about 4 and ended up with 42 nice keepers.
    Sunday after church I asked one of the young fellers if he wanted to go help me pick up the rest of my duck decoys and try to catch a few fish. He's a freshman at Lakeview high school and he's on the bass fishing team. We talk fishing all the time. He said he'd never been crappie fishing but he kept pretty much even with me and from 3:30-5:00pm we put 43 nice ones in the box.

    Not so good, we only got a couple saturday morning but I didn't mind, I knew where all those boats were heading and why. I was itching to go get my rods!
