    Default Fun with great friends

Linda and I took a trip to Lake St. JOHN Friday after being encouraged by our great friend Ms Dorothy. She said come on up the fish are biting. We took her up on it and boy was she right. Friday afternoon we caught 32 some above 2 pounds. Saturday morning they didn’t bite so I cleaned fish. Saturday afternoon it was on again. I brought 29 home to clean today. There were 6 of us fishing and we all caught a nice mess. Even Linda with her broken arm caught some with help from the other nice people we were fishing with. She would hook them and one of us would land it for her. She had a blast and so did I.

They were stuffed with shad like I’ve never seen before. Another thing I noticed was some black crappie with a black mask on their eyes and nose. Is this a real black nose crappie, no racing stripes on these.

The only sad part of the trip was that our friend Josh wasn’t able to make it. He had work commitments.
