    Default Henderson 10/8....This Can't Be Right....


    This temperature reading on my H'Bird just don't seem right....depth of water is fine....my last trip it was around 80 deg. recently....Anyway, daylight till 11...shiners 4 to 5 ft. deep......wound up keeping 8....big one went 13"......ran across CDC member "The Fireman"....good to see you man...it got hot....going back tomorrow morning (Thurs)....might try some spider rigging with shiners....sorry so late posting JR....LOL...

    Go outside and turn it on ... it will read the air temp

    Sorry ain't gonna cut it PS. :0)

    I gotta figure where to go Friday. All my rivers are up to high. I assume the water is falling at da Pelba Gauge? You think dat fresh river water is that cold?

    Surface temp should be low 80's

    Pelba is on a fast rise....up 2" since Monday....I think my unit is not right....I will check it again tomorrow.....hard to believe the river water is that cold.....it is coming in from the south end...

    Fished Henderson yesterday, Oct. 9, water Temp. read just over 80 degrees...fish should have been deep but only caught one about 8 foot deep. The other 16 were in flooded weeds about 3 foot deep, go figure....was good to get out on the water again. Give the water another 5-6 weeks, that water temp. you read will be just about right.

    It coulda been that cold. Looks like them fish had ice on them.
