I tied a few streamers when I was in the Navy and doing a little fly fishing for bass and pike. As ugly as they were, I caught a few fish on them. What I discovered is that you get your money's worth on the first fish you catch. After that, it is all profit. Enjoy every one.

I love it, great post- I went though the same deal, jigs, lures and now designing the ultimate bass plug. You can not put a price on fishing and having fun!

Man I went through very much the same thing when my dreams of a 40 x 40 workshop / office were pushed out of my life by cold hard reality. I actually settled on a 12x20 metal prefabbed building instead and made lots of improvements to it trying to make it something it could never be. I plan to post pictures and the story of this year long process sometime shortly. You are exactly right the process seems to never end. Thanks for sharing I very much enjoyed the read about your story.

Thanks for the advice that so delicately hidden in your post. After reading your story, I think I can manage getting my "fix" by simply tying a few jigs in my dining room. LOL.
