Went Monday & Thursday....shiners of course....brought home 6 sacs Monday (no pics) and 4 Thursday....lots of small bass....few goggle eye and bream that went back in...plenty gar...3 to 12 ft deep in 6 to 20 fow....sacs were hard to find...and they bit very soft...like they would take it in and move slowly away....lost a few bigguns...fished till 1:30 Monday and 11 Thursday....
Up at 3:30 AM....first stop for shiners and ice then on to Waffle House to eat around 4:45...got to rest area (pit stop) at 5:30...launch at 6....added a couple of older pics when the water was higher taken at daybreak...picture of the smallest bass I have ever caught on a shiner....he went back...end of day found me with a dripping cold towel on my head....I do that several times while fishing...keeps you going in this heat for about 30 minutes...course, the umbrella and Fanta orange help also....and I included a couple of pics of Didi and I in our 4th of July shirts.....

I bought one of those Waffle House mugs for home use. I like the thick walls that seem to hold the warmth longer.
Glad to see you are still braving the heat. Jumping overboard would help if it wasn't so darn hard to get back in the boat.

Good report Mr. Bruce! Can't help but wonder if that little bass would have actually been able to eat that shiner if he'd caught it without a hook!? I've seen a video of a small catfish eating a bream and ending up with a huge bulging belly, but with scales, that may not be an option for bass.
Hope you and Ms. Didi are doing well these days. I haven't been able to go fishing for a while, but I still read through the posts for inspiration!
