Fished the Red Sat and Sun. Not a single crappie!! Fished all my old spots and did some exploring. Not seeing the fish on the Hummingbird like 2 weeks ago. Before catfish on shiners were a nuisance, now a rarity!
The Flicker Shad saved the day. Tried trolling it around the rocks, and started catching little bass. Probably caught 10, but only one was over a pound. Still, it was some action. Shad are moving into the backwaters, so I surmise that the crappie are on the move also. Or, maybe they don't like hot weather. Water temp on surface was in the 90's.
Oh well, I learned how to get to some old places. Things have changed since the flood. Lots of hazards, so don't go dashing about relying on a map or your memory of how it was before the flood.

Catch whatever is biting on that day. Well done.
