    Long shank jig hook with a wider gap.....I like them better than sickle hooks. I dont seem to miss as many fish with them.

    Tying jigs is a lot easier than you would think. Buy a cheap little set and give it a go. If you really like it, you can go up in quality of tools. It is fun and very addictive.
